        Design Options

        Solid-color frames feature White, Almond or Fossil color on both the interior and exterior. Dual-color frames have White on the interior with Brown or Black on the exterior.

            • Less visible sash corner seams – typical vinyl has build up.
            • Full-frame profile with edge detailing.
            • Our precision welding process helps prevent warping and twisting over time like ordinary vinyl can – helping eliminate "vinyl smile."
            • Reinforced window frames are 52% stronger than ordinary vinyl.8
            • Multi-chambered, fully-welded sash and frame improve strength and thermal performance and reduce sound transmission.

            Pella 250 Series Sliding Window Specs & Install Details

            • Auto-locking hardware available for added convenience and peace of mind
            • Large and unique factory-mulled window combinations arrive ready for installation
            • Performance class and grade R25-R50 and STC of 25 for dual-pane windows and 28 for triple-pane windows
            • Available in sizes from 21-1/2" x 11-1/2” to 120” x 72” in the West region and 21-1/2" x 11-1/2” to 108” x 62” in the East region
            • Installation options include Block Frame, Integral Fin, Fin with J-Channel11, Flush Flange10, 5/8" Flange Frame11
            Frame
            • Overall frame depth: 3-1/4" on all frame types.
            • Frame members are mitered and heat fused to provide a fully welded corner assembly. Sill is fitted with weeps.
            • Frame: 1-1/8" setback nail fin for 2-1/8" wall depth, Block frame for 3-1/4" wall depth, Integral 5/8” flange for 3" wall depth
            • Interior and exterior frame surfaces are extruded rigid PVC.
            Sash
            • Sash members are extruded, rigid PVC and are mitered and heat-fused to provide a fully welded corner assembly.
            • Includes an integral extruded sash slide.
            • Contains sealed insulating glass.
            Weatherstripping

            Sash is weatherstripped around the sash perimeter with a fin-type, pile weatherstripping. Glazing System

            Interior/Exterior
            • Window frame and sash members are exterior, consisting of a solar reflective coating exceeding AAMA 307 test requirements, with White integral color extruded throughout the profiles on the interior.
            • All exposed PVC surfaces are smooth, glossy and uniform in appearance.
            Glazing System
            • Quality float glass complying with ASTM C 1036.
            • Exterior face-glazed sealed insulating glass.
            • Dual-Pane or 1" Triple-Pane
            Hardware
            • Locks are factory-installed, zinc die cast, self aligning, located on the checkrail.
            • One sash lock is installed on units with frame heights less than 36". One or two sash locks may be chosen on units with frame heights greater than or equal to 36" 
            Screens
            • Set in aluminum frame and fitted to exterior
            • Conventional Black Fiberglass
            • Black vinyl coated 18/16 mesh fiberglass screen cloth complying with ASTM D 3656 and SMA 1201.
            Additional Hardware Options
            • Optional limited opening hardware available for vent units in extruded vinyl to match the unit; nominal 3-3/4" opening.
            • Optional window opening control device available for field installation. Device allows window to open less than 4” with normal operation, with a release mechanism that allows the sash to open completely. Complies with ASTM F2090-10.
