Matching Replacement Patio Door for West Springfield Condo

Located just outside of Springfield, the suburban town of West Springfield, Massachusetts boasts a close community with ample outdoor areas to explore. We had a chance to meet with the homeowners of a condo in the area that needed a replacement patio door. Their old one was worn down and difficult to use. We recommended a Pella 250 Series sliding patio door for the aesthetic, security and durability it provides.

The biggest challenge of this project was the strict design specifications set by the homeowners’ condo association. The replacement patio door was required to match the appearance of the original door to maintain the neighborhood's cohesive look. We recommended a white vinyl sliding door with a traditional grille pattern to replicate the old door. This affordable material offers versatile design options, meaning the grilles could be customized to match the original door while staying in the homeowners' budget.

A point of major concern for the homeowners was that their previous patio door no longer locked. The old patio door had fallen into disrepair and was difficult to operate. As Massachusetts is well known for its snowy winters, we wanted to ensure that this new door was up to the task of weathering whatever it may face throughout the seasons. The homeowners wanted something that would provide lasting support but wouldn’t require a lot of upkeep.
