Project Details

The homeowners of this Cranberry, Pennsylvania house were ready to give their entryway a facelift. They wanted to change the color of their faded red front door to something more classy and modern. In the process of replacing their front door, they also hoped to make the entrance to their home look grander by adding more glass in and around the door.

Fiberglass Front Door with Sidelights Exemplifies Craftsman Style

The homeowners chose to replace the old entry door with a new fiberglass front door with sidelights. This replacement project completely transformed the look of the home, boosting overall curb appeal and first impressions. In place of the old, faded door, the homeowners decided on a black front door. The color black makes a bold design statement as the ultimate color contrast against the light-colored house. It also affords the entryway with timeless, classic beauty.

The new front door includes a dentil shelf, embodying the design of a craftsman-style front door. Above the shelf is glass with grilles that add architectural interest to the entryway by achieving the authentic look of divided light. Sidelights on both sides of the door along with a transom window above the door fill the entryway with additional natural light. The upgraded front door, sidelights and transom make the entire entryway brighter and more inviting than ever.

Energy-Efficient Front Door System Delivers High Performance Year-Round

The new front door system is built to deliver dependable performance year-round. The door features a composite frame that helps protect the home from drafts and leaks to achieve exceptional energy efficiency with minimal maintenance. The homeowners were thrilled that the end result of this replacement project provided not only a style upgrade, but a performance improvement that helps reduce their utility bill and add comfort to their home.

Low-Maintenance Fiberglass Front Door Offers Long-Lasting Durability and Beauty

By choosing a fiberglass front door, the homeowners were able to achieve the look of a craftsman style wood front door without the maintenance. High-quality fiberglass brings style flexibility and convenience to the entryway. Featuring a rot-resistant composite frame, the new fiberglass door is durable, strong and low maintenance. The fiberglass front door with glass resists warping, dents and corrosion – and it withstands extreme weather to provide long-lasting beauty and performance.
