Brown Windows Complete New Home Construction

In the heart of Texas Hill Country, a stunning new residential project in Medina showcases the perfect harmony between modern design and traditional sensibilities. Working in collaboration with White Construction Company of Kerrville, Texas, our Pella of San Antonio team had the privilege of contributing to this remarkable home by providing windows and patio doors that truly brought the homeowners’ vision to life.

The couple’s desire for a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor living spaces aligns perfectly with the laid-back yet sophisticated culture of Medina. To achieve this, we utilized Pella Reserve — Traditional awning windows, picture windows and patio doors with wood frames throughout the home. The brown windows and doors complement the natural surroundings and the home's architectural style, creating a warm and inviting feeling in the space.

One of the standout features of this project is the incorporation of prairie grilles in the windows and patio doors. These distinctive grilles, with their clean lines and geometric patterns, add a touch of timeless style to the home's interior and facade. The prairie style resonates well with the horizontal lines of the Texas landscape, creating a visual connection between the home and its environment.

To take full advantage of the abundant Texas sunshine, we incorporated clerestory windows  in key areas of the home. These high-placed windows allow natural light to flood the interior spaces, reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day and creating a bright, airy ambiance that perfectly suits the region's climate. These windows draw the eye up to the lofted ceiling and wood beams, making the space feel large and open. The final result is a beautiful new home that seamlessly integrates with its surroundings. The brown wood windows with prairie grilles serve as a focal point, enhancing the overall architectural design and creating a lasting impression.
