Custom Pink Windows Make a Bold Statement at the Women’s Care Center

Overlooking downtown Cincinnati, the Women’s Care Center in Mt. Auburn is a striking example of how historic preservation and bold design can coexist. The once-faded stone mansion, complete with turrets, pointed arch windows and detailed masonry, has been restored into a modern care center serving women and families.

To maintain architectural integrity while amplifying the building’s identity, the design team selected Pella Reserve wood windows in a custom magenta finish that aligns with the organization’s branding. The result: a historic commercial renovation that draws attention for all the right reasons.

Each window was custom-built to mirror the original profiles, including arched top sashes, narrow sightlines, and true divided lite grille patterns. Pella’s advanced color-matching technology allowed the team to specify a bold hue that met both the preservation vision and the building’s renewed purpose.

With its clean lines and historic detailing, the Pella Reserve series gave New Republic Architecture the creative flexibility they needed without compromising durability or code compliance.

Working in collaboration with RJ Beischel Building Company, Pella’s commercial team supported everything from field measurements to installation sequencing. This included accounting for deep masonry openings, coordinating deliveries, and minimizing disruption to surrounding site work and accessibility features.
