Andrew Mays

Born and raised in Memphis, Andrew Mays has always been rooted in family, community and tradition. He graduated from Christian Brothers High School in 2019, where he played both football and rugby, and later attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, graduating in 2023. During his time in Chattanooga, he enjoyed meeting new people, including a memorable encounter with Penny Hardaway. 

Outside of academics, Andrew loves fishing, spending time with his nephews and enjoying family dinners every Sunday night. He and his family also share a passion for cooking, especially competing together in the annual Italian Fest competition. 

Andrew grew up around his family’s concrete cutting business, Pats Pro Cut, and spent time on his grandparents’ farm, which sparked his appreciation for hard work and the outdoors. A big fan of fall, he also cheers (sometimes reluctantly) for Arkansas and the Dallas Cowboys. At home, he loves spending time with his boxer, Ciccio.
