Project Details

The small town of South Burlington offers many ways to enjoy the Northeast’s beauty. With many walking trails and parks, residents often explore the outdoors in the warm summers and snowy winters of Vermont. With a variety of home styles in the surrounding neighborhoods, homeowners have a lot of creative freedom when it comes to designing and renovating their houses. We worked with the owners of a 1975 traditional-style home who were looking to update the exterior and replace a bow window with a picture window. We recommended Pella 250 Series windows to elevate the look of their house.

Replacing Bow Window Modernizes Home

The homeowners felt that their old bow window dated their home. To modernize the look of their house and increase curb appeal, they decided to remove the bow window. The replacement features a picture window in the middle with a double-hung window on each side of it, opening to allow air into the living room. Unlike the old bow window, these windows offer an unobstructed view with no grilles to match the rest of the windows in the home.

Vinyl Windows are a Budget-Friendly Design Option

A big priority for these homeowners was to stay within budget for their replacement project. We assured them that vinyl windows would not only be cost-effective but also provide the high quality that their home deserved. We recommended sticking with white windows to complement the rest of the home and were able to offer an option that matched their design needs while still coming in under budget. Pella 250 Series windows can be customized with a variety of additional features to suit any homeowner’s unique needs.

Pella 250 Series Windows Offer Durability in Vermont Weather

Weather resistance and durability are very important in a climate like South Burlington’s. These windows are low-maintenance and will never need to be repainted. They are also tested for exceptional weather performance. Our precision welding process works to prevent warping over time and the multi-chambered frames are designed to improve strength and thermal performance to protect these windows in all types of weather.

This was a unique replacement project that not only gave the exterior a facelift but also elevated the feel of this traditional-style home. The homeowners are very excited about the new look of their home and feel confident in our recommendation for high-quality vinyl windows to meet their design needs.
