Imagine a home where modern Spanish charm meets bold design choices. That's exactly what the architects had in mind for this stunning new construction. Picture dark accents popping against light stucco, creating a look that's both timeless and fresh. The homeowners knew they needed something special for the windows to really make this vision shine, so they turned to our team at Pella of San Diego.
We suggested a mix of arched and rectangle windows — a combination that perfectly complements the home's architectural style, but also invites an abundance of natural light into every room.
Arched Windows Brighten Billiards Room
Marrying modern flair with timeless charm, we installed graceful arched windows in the billiards room — a quintessential element of Spanish architecture. The gentle arcs add a touch of softness and unique elegance, brightening the entertainment space compared to a rectangular window option.
Grilles Maintain Traditional Window Style in New Construction
These black windows feature ILT (integral light technology) grilles which create the authentic look and feel of divided light. To achieve this, the grilles are bonded to the interior and exterior of the glass with spacers between them, creating realistic shadows to mirror the look of individual windowpanes.
Additionally, our team installed SunDefense™ Low-E Insulating Glass to protect the billiards room from harmful ultraviolet rays, keeping furniture and flooring from fading. This glass option is best used in very hot, sunny climates, like Encinitas.
Kitchen Windows Connect Indoor and Outdoor Spaces in Encinitas
To allow sunlight and nature to be a part of the overall home design, we recommended a picture window as the kitchen focal point. This window configuration emphasizes the abundance of natural light while connecting the indoors with the backyard retreat. Our team customized this three-piece kitchen window with two casement windows on the sides and a picture window in the center. The design allows the new homeowners to have the best of both worlds — extended views and fresh air all at once. With the expert recommendations and installation from Pella of San Diego, our clients were thrilled with their black arched and picture windows that brighten the entire home.
