Multi-Slide Windows and Doors for Scottsdale Home

A growing oasis amidst Arizona’s desert climate, Scottsdale is home to a bustling city with a booming arts scene. With a predominantly sunny climate and very mild winters, it’s no secret that many homeowners in the area enjoy living and entertaining in their outdoor spaces. For this project, we partnered with a local builder to construct this beautiful home, featuring Pella windows and doors.

The multi-slide patio door partnered with the multi-slide window truly is the statement piece of this home. This patio door offers these homeowners a seamless transition from indoor to outdoor living. With the ability to maximize airflow throughout the space, these homeowners can host and entertain year-round as they enjoy Scottsdale’s mild winters. The continuous integrated sill track that these doors sit upon is strategically designed to be flush with the floor and countertop. This ensures there are no trip hazards or obstructed sightlines to the beautiful backyard space. The pocketing doors stack neatly as they slide and disappear out of sight into the wall pocket, allowing the homeowners to maximize their usable entertainment space.

This bright and airy kitchen is the heart of this home. Since these homeowners love to entertain by their pool, we installed a pass through window that connects the indoor and outdoor countertops. This large multi-slide window allows additional airflow throughout the home and adds more natural light to the kitchen. With the glass panels sliding to both sides, these homeowners have direct access to slide food between the indoor and outdoor kitchens. As more homeowners see the benefits of pass through windows, this type of window is becoming a popular addition to kitchens in both new homes and remodels.

One goal of this installation was to ensure we remained consistent with the contemporary aesthetic of the home. We achieved this through the prioritization of clear sightlines with no grilles and by making all the windows and doors installed modern dark colors. The stained wood of the sliding doors and windows match the darker tones of the bar entertainment area while still popping against the lighter colors of the kitchen. The modern patio door and windows achieve exactly what the builder and homeowners had in mind for this space.

With a seamless transition to the outdoor spaces of this home, we feel confident that we helped the homeowners embrace their beautiful natural surroundings in Scottsdale. Focusing on complementing their home’s modern aesthetic while still delivering on quality, we were able to provide these homeowners with a year-round entertainment oasis.
