Bandera, Texas, nicknamed the “Cowboy Capital of the World,” is in the heart of Texas Hill Country. Residents in Bandera take great pride in their Western history and stunning landscapes. A homeowner in this picturesque town is a valued repeat customer who has experienced our team’s one-of-a-kind customer service. When it came time to continue their home improvement project, we were the first to be called.

To solve their ventilation and energy problems, we recommended a mix of picture and awning windows alongside a hinged patio door. Pella Lifestyle Series was a perfect fit for their sunroom windows and doors, as it complements the home’s existing style.

Sunroom Windows with Built-In Shades Enhance Energy Efficiency

This homeowner was seeking a polished and upgraded look for their sunroom windows. To improve energy efficiency between-the-glass shades were added. The built-in shades give the homeowners the ability to control how much sun enters the room. On particularly warm days they can lower the shades to help cool the temperature without raising energy costs.  The shades are tucked between insulating panes of glass, protecting them from damage. The versatile window fashions are available in a variety of colors, offering an option to seamlessly match other elements in the sunroom.

Our team installed picture and awning windows which were mulled together, giving the appearance of floor-to-ceiling glass. The large triple-pane wood windows provide the homeowner with an energy-saving option. Triple-pane windows have three panes of glass with a gap between panes for insulating gas boosting energy savings and reducing noise. To keep the room well-ventilated in all seasons, awning windows can open outwards to let in a light breeze. This duo works perfectly to control airflow in the home while being energy efficient.

Replacement Sunroom Patio Door Maximizes Security and Privacy

The old screen patio door allowed the intense west-facing sun to heat up the entire room. As part of this replacement project, the customer requested an insulated door that protects the room from harmful UV rays. We installed a hinged patio door with shades-between-the-glass. This feature increases privacy and blocks The improved security with a multipoint locking system helps to keep the door secure yet easy to operate.

Our team overcame several unique challenges during this project including a floor-to-ceiling height that exceeded the standard maximum window size. We worked with our installation team to ensure the Lifestyle Series products could be properly installed in a safe and timely fashion. In all, the window and patio door replacements fully addressed the customer’s unique requirements and preferences. Now, they can enjoy the comfort and beauty of their sunroom.
