After a hailstorm brought damage to this Norman, Oklahoma home, these homeowners decided it was time to upgrade to more durable windows and doors. Our team at Pella of Oklahoma recommended fiberglass windows and a fiberglass door for this project.
Black Windows Stand Out Against Brick Exterior
One of the major upgrades for these homeowners was replacing their white windows with a more modern black color. We removed the grilles that were in the old windows and recommended new modern windows without grilles. While black windows are trending, they will always be a classic design choice. Not only do these windows feel much more up to date, they also draw just the right amount of attention to make a statement throughout the home’s exterior.
Fiberglass Front Door with Glass Lightens Up Entryway
Choosing a fiberglass front door is no easy task. With so many options to choose from, it can be difficult to decide what design is right for your home. For these homeowners, we recommended a ¾ light fiberglass front door for a few reasons. The addition of the glass, which covers a majority of the door, offers ample amounts of light into the entryway. By removing the sidelights and transoms, we opted to turn this single front door into a double door to increase the size of the entry. We recommended black doors as the dark color contrasts nicely against the surrounding brick. The color contrast brings a more modern feel to the space.
Durable Fiberglass Offers Long-Lasting Beauty
As these homeowners expressed at the beginning of this project, durability was very important in their new windows and front door. Our fiberglass windows are tested to withstand harsh weather conditions in a variety of climates. With rot resistant material, these doors do not absorb moisture and are built with lasting beauty in mind. From Oklahoma’s unpredictable storm season to warm summer days, these windows are made to last.
With a new front door and windows for this home, these homeowners were able to make the most of the unfortunate situation of storm damage. Now the homeowners can rest easy knowing that their windows and doors are durable and offer protection for years to come.
