4-Panel Sliding Glass Door Updates Fayetteville Living Room

We collaborated with Hess Custom Home Builders to renovate the living room of this Fayetteville home by replacing the back wall with a 4-panel sliding glass patio door. The goal was to flood the space with natural light, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere.

Prior to the remodel, the living room had minimal natural light due to the solid back wall. The homeowners were looking for a solution that would not only brighten the space but also provide easy access to their outdoor living area.

We recommended a Pella Lifestyle Series 4-panel sliding patio door. This impressive door system effectively replaced the entire back wall, allowing natural light to pour into the living room. The expansive glass panels create an almost seamless connection between the interior and exterior spaces, making the room feel larger and more open.

The homeowners were also concerned with the importance of having control over the amount of light entering the space and maintaining privacy when needed. To address these concerns, the new patio door was equipped with shades-between-the-glass.

This innovative feature allows them to easily adjust the shades to their desired position, regulating the level of natural light and privacy throughout the day. When fully raised, the shades virtually disappear, providing an unobstructed view of the outdoors. When lowered, they offer a stylish and functional solution for light control and privacy, without the need for separate window treatments and without concern that they will get dirty or damaged.
