Richfield Screened-In Porch Transformed to Four-Seasons Room

Homeowners in Richfield, Ohio wanted to convert their dated screened-in patio into a versatile space they could enjoy all year long. They had their work cut out for them, but with the help of our expert team their vision was able to come to life.

We teamed up with Smith Construction to install custom wood casement windows to replace the dated screens. The sleek black frames of these windows modernize the home and complement the siding, while also serving a functional purpose. The casement windows offer an easy-to-use crank that allows the couple to easily prop them open and enjoy some fresh air, while the durable construction of the windows help regulate the indoor temperatures to maintain a comfortable climate in Ohio’s humid summers and harsh winters. The broad glass panes maximize natural light and brighten the interior to create a more open feel throughout the space.

To complete the room's design and ensure seamless indoor-outdoor flow, we installed a French patio door. This elegant solution swings wide from the side, creating a grand entrance to the four-seasons room and making it a convenient, integrated part of the home. The large glass pane on the door offers even more natural light to the space and an unobstructed view of the backyard.

Converting the screened-in porch into a four-seasons room has allowed these homeowners to enjoy their patio throughout the year, regardless of weather conditions.
