    New Construction Installation After Building Wrap for Nail Fin Windows

    A window is installed on a stud wall with sheathing after the building wrap is in place. It is then attached using the nailing fin and integrated with the building wrap using flashing tape.

    A window or door is installed on a stud wall with water-resistant sheathing. It is then attached using the nailing fin and sealed to the water-resistant sheathing.

    A window or door is installed on a concrete or masonry wall with wood buck. It is then attached using the nailing fin and sealed to the wood buck.

    New Construction Installation with Nail Fin over 1 1/2" - 2" Continuous Exterior Insulation Using Rough Opening Support Brackets. (Patent Pending)

    A window is installed on a wall with continuous exterior insulating panels. It is then supported via the support brackets at each shim location, attached using the nail fin installed over the exterior rigid insulation to the water-resistive barrier.

    Full Frame Replacement After Brickmould or Trim Removal or Siding Cut-Back for Nail Fin Windows

    The existing window or door and wood brickmould or trim is removed. The new window or door with nail fin is sealed and attached to the wall in the opening left by the removal of the existing brickmould and window or door. Exterior trim is then used to cover the nail fin.

    Masonry Construction for Block Frame Windows

    A window is installed on a concrete or masonry wall. It is then attached using screws through the frame or clips and sealed to the exterior brick, siding or stucco.
