This stunning, 12-acre gated estate is designed to impress, offering every amenity imaginable. From a private pond and in-ground pool to a basement game room overlooking the Colorado National Monument, this property truly has it all.
Our clients especially love the lower level—a social hub perfect for entertaining. Complete with a fully equipped bar, pool table, poker table and arcade machine, it’s an adult's dream space for relaxation and fun.
The homeowners were looking to combine the joys of this indoor entertainment space with their beautiful natural surroundings. To connect the spaces while entertaining guests, they enlisted help from Pella Mountain View to provide a window and door solution.
Multi Slide Door Elegantly Transitions Between Indoor-Outdoor Living Spaces
Our clients love to entertain family and friends on this lower level, making a smooth transition between the indoor and outdoor spaces especially important. The original patio door made it difficult to easily access both living spaces at once. That’s why our team proposed using a multi-slide patio door. The glass panels stack together against the exterior wall, fusing the two entertainment spaces together to create even more usable space for the family. This patio door solution was the ideal choice for these homeowners that prioritize their indoor-outdoor connection and mountain views.
Fiberglass Frames Add a Sleek Finish to Basement Windows
The replacement windows needed to complement the neutral color palette featuring wooden floors, cream-colored walls and pops of dark green. To create a nice contrast against the basement colors, our expert team recommended black fiberglass windows. These black windows perfectly frame the breathtaking outdoor views, while enhancing the natural tones throughout the basement.
Our proprietary fiberglass windows have a long-lasting powder coat finish to resist dents and breaks. These frames will never rot or corrode, nor do they need to be refinished like the original wood windows in this home. The couple is incredibly pleased with their new basement windows that have thin profiles and lots of glass.
Casement Windows Increase Ventilation to Grand Junction Basement
Casement windows are hinged at the side allowing maximized air flow and natural light into the game room. The wide opening of these windows adds an abundance of light, brightening the whole space, helping to eliminate the overuse of artificial lighting.
Simple cleaning was also a top priority for these homeowners. With that being said, our team installed casement windows which open at 90 degrees, allowing the exterior to be washed from the inside. The between-the-glass grilles are permanently sealed between two panes of glass, creating a smooth window surface to wipe windows clean.
This beautiful home, with all its amazing features, now boasts a multi-slide patio door paired with casement windows. These replacement choices help to connect the indoors and outdoors together, while adding natural light and fresh air. The couple is extremely excited to put their new window and door solutions into action during their next gathering.
