When people do what they love, a job becomes something bigger and better – it becomes a career.
Pella creates products that transform how customers view their homes. That same spirit of transformation drives our commitment to our team members.
Team member value proposition
A comprehensive support system that helps you get the most out of your career – that is Pella's commitment to every team member.
Pella's values are the foundation of everything we do. As we embody them, we are inspired to reach out and give our very best. As a family-owned company since 1925, Pella's culture is largely based on our solid-successful foundation and core values.
Ultimately, our future lies directly in the hands of each member of the Pella team. A group of strong individuals, treated with dignity and respect, who share the same vision, will be a force nothing can deter.- Pete Kuyper, Founder,
A team-first approach
At Pella, our teamwork, diversity and open two-way communication ensure that everyone's ideas and suggestions are heard, and that each person feels respected and valued. For example, we hold regular company-wide meetings on our State of the Business. Pella also has a strong history of sharing the rewards of our success with all team members: our profit-sharing program is just one way we do that.
A dedication to our customers
Most important, we measure our company's success by how well we satisfy our customers. That's one of the reasons we are so passionate about continuous improvement. Each team member at Pella Corporation is always encouraged to think about ways our processes and our products can be better. And we continuously hold structured events that help move these thoughts into action.
A commitment to the environment
Pella Corporation acknowledges the need to responsibly use energy resources in ways that are sustainable and support our commitment to the environment, our team members, our customers and the communities where we operate.
Pella's total compensation package is just one of the many reasons to choose a career at Pella Corporation. Highlights of our benefits, which may vary by location, include:
Insurance and wellness programs
Paid Time Off
Since 2003, Pella team members have raised more than $2 million for JDRF – the leading global organization focused on Type 1 diabetes research. JDRF has awarded more than $1.6 billion to diabetes research since it was founded in 1970.
Pella, Iowa, honored by the Institute for Character Development
Congratulations to team members and others whose good work resulted in Pella being named Iowa's Community of Character for 2013. Criteria for the award included developing an active task force and a comprehensive, sustained community-wide initiative to support good character while integrating character development throughout the community.
Character Counts! in Iowa began as a sesquicentennial project in 1996, thanks in part to support by the Pella Rolscreen Foundation. In 2002, the Foundation introduced the pillar-based program in Pella and through the years has provided funding for other corporate locations to offer it locally. The program is making a positive difference in the workplace as well as in schools and communities.
