Luxury Nashville Symphony Show House’s Windows Offer Beautiful Light

This dream house balances country charm with modern sensibility.

Few things get our hearts racing more than beautiful architecture that’s brought to life with quality craftsmanship and innovative design, and that’s exactly what you’ll find as you drive up to the Nashville Symphony Show House.

Completed in 2015 on the edge of Hillsboro Road, the Southern contemporary folk home was created through the joint efforts of Castle Home’s Alan Looney, Wade Weissmann Architecture, The Iron Gate, Julie Couch Interiors and Mark Simmons Interiors.

With 5,500 square feet of intricately designed modern-vintage exteriors and interiors, the historical detailing is a delight and feast for the eyes. In the living room, antiques and modern furniture creates a cozy and welcoming space. We especially love the bright white kitchen, which uses plenty of Architect Series® Traditional wood windows to honor the historical integrity of the home.

Stepping into the kitchen, the all-white color scheme and series of white, triple-pane double-hung windows work together to make a beautifully bright space. The windows feature matte black sash lifts, which make opening and closing the window as effortless as the style they radiate.

Offered as a special feature for our Architect Series line, these optional authentic spoon-style hardware pieces ensure every home’s architectural style is as accurate as possible.

Double-hung windows with matte black sash lifts also make an appearance in this multi-functional space, which serves as both an office and casual sitting area.

The contrasting colors and textures of the room’s tufted sofa, upholstered teal chair, white fringe chandelier and teal fringe pillow help create movement and a layered look that is both glamorous and graceful.

In the master bedroom, white French patio doors swing wide open to create a seamless transition from the backyard patio to the indoor oasis. The use of expansive traditional sidelights, a fiddle leaf fig tree, freshly trimmed pink peonies and a wooden upholstered bench bring even more natural elements into the room.

In a word, the home’s remaining interior spaces are an incredible breath of fresh air — bright, ethereal and elegant, with pops of blue, pink and gray to complement the home’s mostly white canvas. The décor and architectural detailing of the office, bedrooms and bathrooms creates a perfect balance between country charm and modern sophistication design styles.

A serene scene awaits guests in the home’s backyard and patio spaces, with its beautiful white outdoor curtains, comfortable patio seating and stately painted brick fireplace. The standing seam metal roof creates visual interest while added insulation softens the volume of sounds produced during a rainy day.

From the front porch to the sprawling back patio, the Nashville Symphony Show House is a dream setting where the best of Southern contemporary and folk architecture, along with historically accurate window and door features, come together to create a beautiful work of art.
