Opening all the windows in your home is one of the first sure signs spring has arrived! After a long winter, you might notice your home is in need of a little love. Tackling spring cleaning is much easier if you open all the windows, turn up some great music and get moving!
Great Scot!! In the immortal words of Doc Brown, that may be just what you shout when you see the Better Homes and Garden’s Innovation Home in October 2015.
Being built in Mequon, Wisconsin, the home incorporates the best of new technology proven to make homes smarter, safer and more convenient. Not to mention, just cooler! Part of that cool-factor includes Pella Insynctive™ Technology*: window and door sensors, garage door sensors, entry door deadbolt sensor, status indicator, bridge (to integrate everything) and motorized blinds and shades.
*Connected to a compatible home automation system.
The Innovation Home will also showcase:
- A front door from our Architect® Series, featuring a sidelight window and an overhead transom window.
- A Fire-rated Pella fiberglass entry door to access the home from the garage.
- And the remainder of the home will include Designer Series® windows with between-the-glass blinds and shades, casement windows, and awning windows.
But this is just the beginning! Stay tuned for more information on our blog or at BHG.com as we count down the months until the home is completed! Can’t wait?
